Recovering your Account

Three steps. Have your inbox to hand.

Identify the account. Enter the electronic mail address under which you are registered.
Retrieve the code. A six-digit recovery code will be despatched to that address.
Choose a new password. Enter the code together with your new password.

Should the message not arrive

Look in your junk or spam folder; institutional filters are often severe.
Confirm the address is the one you registered with.
Wait a full minute, then request a second code.
If all else fails, write to info@scottishsciencesociety.org.

A word on security

The Society will never ask you for your password by electronic mail, by telephone or in person. A recovery code is valid for fifteen minutes and for one use only.

Should your password have been mislaid, the Society will despatch a six-digit recovery code to your registered address. The code is valid for fifteen minutes.
